I feel like I’d been hearing about this new fitness class at Equinox for years. I would go to try out other classes and catch word that they were working on installing ceiling mounts for INKA but that no classes were scheduled yet...ceiling mounts? For what?

Triathletes in the Northeast have reason to celebrate with the addition of a brand new Ironman 70.3 event scheduled for July 13 in and around Providence, Rhode Island.

The word “athlete” seems to take on a new definition when you’re talking about ultramarathoners. Dean Karnazes rose to prominence in 2006 by running 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 consecutive days.  This year, he is attempting to complete the world’s five major desert foot races in a single calendar year.

On June 28, official Spinning facilities across the country will simultaneously conduct four consecutive one-hour classes with the goal of raising $1 million to benefit a trio of charities. The event, dubbed Spinning Nation, is the first-ever nationwide Spinning fundraising event.
